Ralph Fiennes is one of the UK's most highly regarded and internationally celebrated actors. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), he made his mark in the British theatre with his Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) performances as Henry VI, Troilus, Edmund in King Lear and Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost. Ralph Fiennes made his cinematic debut as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights and went on to make Schindler's List for Steven Spielberg, for which he won an Academy AwardŽ nomination and a BAFTA Award for his portrayal of the Nazi Amon Goeth.

Ralph Fiennes has continued to work in the theatre with critical and commercial successes in Hamlet (1994) in both London and New York (where he won the Tony Award for his performance); in Ivanov (1997) in London and Moscow; and, in 2000, in both Richard II and Coriolanus in London, New York and Tokyo. In 2002 and 2004 he starred in Christopher Hampton's new play, The Talking Cure, at the National Theatre, in which he played Carl Jung, and in 2004 he starred in Ibsen's Brand, directed by Adrian Noble for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Ralph Fiennes also made a memorable comic guest appearance on stage in 2002 in the hugely successful The Play What I Wrote, directed by Kenneth Branagh.
